Putah Creek is located just west of Winters in the California foothills. It is a tailwater fishery that holds huge rainbow trout. The creek can be extremely frustrating fishing with great rewards. We use small flies, size 18-22 flies are the norm, tied to 6x-7x tippet it makes fishing challenging. The Putah Creek tour is a tour that will introduce anglers to this great fishery.
