Lance's X-Mays

I took Mike Mercer’s Micro May and Hogan Brown’s S&M and “X” them to form the X-May. I took the best parts of their flies and added a few of mine. This pattern is designed to fish wherever mayflies are found. A fantastic silhouette, great color combinations with texture and a little flash. We tied these on TMC 3769 hooks for years, but I switch it to the Firehole 516 jig hook last year. That moved the X-May from great to fantastic!
